Unmasking The Truth
We hear a lot about masking and unmasking these days. We often hear about the duty of wearing a mask for protection of self and others. It seems that wearing a mask in our personality has now become materialized in wearing one on our face. We find out now that wearing a mask is not as healthy for us as it is claimed to be. Life is not allowing us to wear masks but we are determined to do it. You have heard it right a mask is to protect yourself and want to cover every part of ourselves as much as we can. We like to cover the truth about ourselves and we succeed by wearing different masks. The truth, it is the reality about us and who we are. We are afraid of showing up to people the beauty of who we are and some of us carry baggage with all our ugly stuff to be unloaded in moments of loneliness and anger. It seems to show up at our most vulnerable times. It is perhaps high time to unmask the truth not necessarily to others but to our self or to God. ...
