Priceless!

It important sometimes to reflect on the things pertaining to life.  We seems to not have a problem thinking about the things we spend our money on, but it's quite another to meditate and appreciate the things and people that are free but nevertheless priceless.  What would happen if in one breath those thing or people were taken from us?  Would our lives be quite different?  Would we mind?

I believe we would all be hurting terribly.  There is no price on anything that is free in this world.  We should all be thankful for the air we breath since we were first on the earth.  Those things we desperately need in order to survive like water which is included in all our meals.  What would we do without it?

What about relationship?  You reap what you sow, really.  There is no substitute for love, if you give love you will receive love.  It's the law of investment.  You get out what you put in.

Sometimes though I understand that some relationship are unhealthy but that can also be avoided.  There's freedom in choice. Sometimes the only thing left to do is to get out.

As much as we like to complain about the weather, it's free.  We can choose to even enjoy the rain or any weather that gets thrown at us.  It doesn't matter.

I encourage you all to consider your life this weekend.  What are some things you could appreciate a lot more and communicate it.  Be a fun person to be around as much as you want others to be fun to be around.

I will again talk with you tomorrow. Let me know if you need anything. I appreciate all of you for reading me.  It means a lot!

Priceless

By Bernard Demaere

I have concluded…

That the most important things in life,

Are free!

Not milk or bread,

Nor cars or beds,

But who can…

Buy a smile?

Friendships are free

And yet…costly.

You can’t buy the wind

Or the sunshine,

You can’t buy the rain

Nor pay for pain,

You can’t buy growth…

You can’t buy time

It is like happiness…

It must be given away,

You can’t buy truth

But you’re going to pay for a lie,

You can’t buy freedom

It is a gift to be found,

Can you sell…your own self?

How much are you worth?

I bet…

…more than all the treasures

That the whole world could behold!
