Changes is always good!
I don't know if my mental illness has anything to do with it or just the fact that I am human, I have always struggled with changes in my life. I also have a tendency to get fixated on a certain pattern of doing things and I am not so willing to give it up.
I have found over the years with the events of life that life is to be expected to be filled with changes. With lots of changes.
I do have a lot of concerns for a lot of things and my environment affects me a lot. Lately, I have really been concerned with the rise of violence and rage in our countries, Canada and USA and other countries as well which could be linked to mental illness unchecked and undiagnosed. It's alarming too. Plus the drop in sales of deodorants really bothers me. Who wants to be in a stinky house with a bunch of adults...and teenagers sweating. I am sorry I didn't want to include teenagers because they get picked on all the time. I feel sorry for them. Also the rise in sales of ice cream which is going to deplete the stocks of all the ice cream I like. We will have then the same situation than the toilet paper in March and April. What is worse being short of toilet paper or ice cream? We might have to eat healthy again and who wants that? What about stinky adults and teenagers eating ice cream in a warm house. YUK!
Anyway changes? That's what I was going to talk about. In the next few days, I am thinking of keeping this blog as Poetry and Blog and use it sporadically to put post about mostly mental illness and subjects that are relevant to it. I am also thinking following the suggestions of a friend to start a new blog on posting recipes and baking tips with personal stories related to my childhood and so on.
I am a baker and more so a pastry chef by trade and so I might be able to help in this area as well.
This bread recipe I just posted was successful and this recipe with the help of some friends was created for use at a restaurant in the interior in the 1970's and 80's. We made sandwiches with it and served a smaller bun with the evening meals. It was in a late 1800's setting with beautiful antique furniture. That blog will also be a once or twice a week posting. I am just running out of ideas but I am still wanting to keep on helping people around the world because I think I will eventually make an impact on the population.
Thank you for believing in me and supporting me, I do appreciate it very much.
Have a great day!
