Are you stuck?

Are you stuck in a particular situation that you seemingly can't get out of ?
Like in:
- an abusive relationship?
- some debts?
- at your parents because you can't pay rent?
- in an uncomfortable spot, country, job?

My advice to you is an advice I have given to myself.  You have to be patient and maybe even eat some humble pie which is hard to do.  Waiting is hard all the time for me never mind in hard times.

The important thing is to never give up but at the same time to take steps within yourself to make changes.

In certain situation, it is even for the sake of your mental well-being to seek help from social services that are available in your community.  First of all though, I would seek God's help first, he always comes through and sometimes he uses people like you and me.

I know some of these situations I mentioned above are very unpleasant because I have experienced it myself.

The word of encouragement for all through all these situations that you are stuck in is this:

Wait! Because your moment(s) has not come yet!

Don't just wait but take action to improve what you are going through with some help.

Don't think your way is the only way to do something.  Be open to others' ideas, they might have the answer to your need.

Humble pie is best eaten fresh out of the oven - learn your lesson quickly.  There is a lesson to learn in every stuck-in situation.  Believe me!

                                           Looking Over the Fence

Bernard Demaere

There is a small yard

Over there.

Dandelion are its crop

Weeds and thorns.

But look over yonder,

Look over the fence.

There is a tree,

And a field.

Yes, just a fence.

Is it in your mind?

Is it in your heart?

A pathway to cross?

So simple yet so hard,

Look! It’s only a fence.

Use your imagination,

And you will be free.

Look over there.

The birds are singing,

The river is flowing,

The wind is blowing.

                                   There is a treasure hiding,

For you, to find.

It’s a mystery for your mind.
