A job well done!

You know! There is a silent rule in our home. I must be the one assigned to wash windows around here.
I like to do it for the simple reason that after doing them I can just sit back and enjoy the satisfaction of having them done. What an improvement it does to the house you live in.  Having clean windows! 
We need all to do that in our life. To sit back after we have done a good job and rejoice.
God did it at creation and he does it with you. He sits back and says what a good job I did. I put all these qualities in and gifts and he checks each one of us to see what will be our reaction to him. Will we be thankful or ungrateful for what he has given us?

Amazed, but not Surprised

I am amazed,

But not surprised,

Because you can use one,

Such as me.

 

Joy unspeakable,

And full of glory,

Grips my soul,

With deep yearnings,

 

I am amazed,

But not surprised,

By your glory so full,

And free for sinners such as me.

 

Jesus in me,

The hope of glory,

Abiding love,

This is my destiny.

 

There is no end in sight,

At what Jesus can do,

In me and through me,

His Grace so amazes me!

I was born in Belgium ����.I am retired and living with my wife of 36years, Cathy. We are the proud parents of two adult married children. One of each, Zoe and Steve. Now we have grandchildren as well. I love writing, I don’t write some poetry. I have quite a collection of poems.

The Power of Fathers

Fathers are valuable beings in children's formation not just the mothers. They set the right values in a home and the standards of moral.  They are much needed. I am glad I had a dad and when I look around I am glad my dad stack around all his life.  So many fathers have left the coop for whatever reason.  I can honestly say that it hurts my heart to see single mothers looking after their children without a father. My dad was dedicated to his family and we always had food on the table. He had to be very busy because of his business in body shop and that I miss, the interaction with him on the emotional level.  I think maybe my children missed that too.  I urge every father to be there for their children, not just physically but emotionally.  It will save them a lot of regrets and sorrow later. Imaginary Imagery

So many times I wonder how what I read in people's faces or even in my own thoughts is actually what really happens. Am I really mad for the right reason or is it all in my imagination. What about you?  Are you really seeing what you are supposed to see or you have to reconsider something? Maybe you missed something in the context of what they were saying. Do we understand everyone perfectly?  Do we communicate perfectly? Let's revaluate!  Give them another chance. Say no to that divorce or that fight. Is it worth it?
