Worry and Vision
Worry is a powerful force. Just imagine that you don't have it and then keep meditating on that and this is essentially what worry is. A fruitless activity full of nonsense. Something you do without considering the consequences of lost time. Total foolishness and yet we (humans) do it all the time. I used to waste 1/2 of a lifetime turning around and around in my mind and worrying about the future. Now life is much more than what you don't have. Well, isn't that a laughable concept 'much more than what you don't have'.
Now turn that to positive and worry becomes a vision. What? you can turn worry into a vision.
Okay! Worry is a vision alright. You just see something you don't have and wished you had it and keep looking at it as long as you allow yourself to do it. Worry is a sin so we just have to quit it.
The vision of something you have realized is not new. A lot of people saw things before they happened and as God showed it to them. Abraham saw stars in the sky and God told him that is how many children you will have and look at us. We are the product of that vision in one way or another.
Don't want to worry anymore just meditate on the positive things you are supposed to think of and you will have a vision.
Life is actually much more than what you have in your cupboards or in your house or even in your job.
Life has much more to offer but you just have to be willing to see it as 'more'. What would you do without love? A baby could die for lack or no love from his mother. What about friends and family? Pretty lonely right? The list of things we should be thankful for goes on and on, things we don't even have to pay for and are free like the sight we have been given and the sight of the flowers that bloom. Just priceless!
One Step at a time
Bernard Demaere
One step at a time,
He is never in a hurry.
In my frustration…
In my ignorance…
I want to walk ten.
I become angry,
Lose my concentration,
And fall.
But He says:
“No worry!
Be content!
One step at a time,
There is no hurry!”
