The Necessity of Hope
Castle Not of Wood Revelation 21-22
Bernard Demaere
I am dreaming of a castle,
It is somewhere in a city,
And the size of it would make you marvel,
There are so many mansions lit up by glory.
There is a castle without any door,
For the one who is the King is the door,
You are free to come in…
But first, taste of His pastures green.
There is a castle without a ceiling,
For the one who made it is the Most High,
And, its walls cover eternity,
The windows are huge and open to victory.
There is a castle without light
For the One who abide in the Light.
And everything that is unseen, will be seen
And in passing world, His glory will make it dim.
There is a castle without food,
But, I know Him, and He will be your bread.
That castle is not even made of wood,
But it can hold the world for whom Jesus died.
I am dreaming of a castle,
But this castle is not so unreal.
There are no doors. But He is the Door,
There is no ceiling. He is too great!
There are some walls and windows,
There is Light that gives no shadows.
There is no food. He is your Bread.
And your Host. His name is Jesus!
There is a key, it is my heart.
There is a book, the Bible tells how he loves me,
And to read it you don’t have to be smart.
Yes, that castle is not of wood
And I must die, if I want to look,
Because, this castle is in my Book
