The family is supposed to operate as a molecule of interdependent cells (I have no idea what I am talking about I just find physics and chemistry fascinating). I did have a chemistry set as a child, one of the best gift to buy a child with an inquisitif mind. Just be careful who you get it for because it can be dangerous.
Anyway, back to the mystery of molecules, a force holds the cells together like a family. I would think that these cells within that molecule are attracted to each other to build something solid like a table or a chair. This is not a scientific paper and I am not a scientist. I am just one who likes to drive them nuts.
I know cells don't have brains and decide on building a table but what I am suggesting is a broad idea of what a family or a group of people might look like. There is a power connecting them like electricity. One depends on the other and as they each grow up and mature that dependence should grow as well or the molecule which is the family breaks. What happens next is a deterioration of the family like a divorce or rebellious children. The material gives way, the building blocks are no longer communicating and the house falls apart. There is an invisible authority that governs and connect all of the elements together that a family forms. Children are needed as much as adults in the welfare of this family and communication is the key such as verbal, emotional and moral or social.
This brings me to my boasting about my children and the blessings mine were to me this past weekend. I also have a great wife and it's a blessing to give love to them and to receive love from them. Men, I am talking to you now...take or leave it but don't be too proud in yourself to not receive love from your family and your children in particular. Some of us, like to 'sacrifice' love over and over again and your children suffer because you can't receive their love in return.
I know some people might look at this title and think "...Really! Children are blessings?"
Yes they are if you train them to be is my answer to you. You reap what you sow.
I was really blessed (means made happy) by my children yesterday in their giving altogether of themselves and of time. Furthermore my children have always been a blessing.
I got to spend my whole afternoon with my adult daughter driving to a windmill sight and going for lunch. Then my son contacted me and we chatted about our relationship and what had happened.
It was a really unforgettable time and valuable time. I consider my children both awesome and told them in separate ways aside of all their accomplishments that I was very proud of them.
I am proud to be their dad because of that reason alone....That they are my children!
Keeping up a Good Name
Bernard Demaere
To keep up a good name,
You don’t have to live up high as a crane,
Looking down on the world,
Always speaking beautiful words.
To keep up a good name,
You don’t have to be a Rock and Roll star,
Playing heavy tunes on your electric
guitar,
In order also to have a great gain.
To keep a good name,
You don’t have to be an actor in expensive
movies,
And every time you smile you have to say,
“Cheese”
Because all along in your heart you have
pain.
To keep up a good name,
You don’t have to head a kingdom,
And speak out all your wisdom,
So that you appear to be without blame.
To keep up a good name,
You don’t have to run all over the place,
But only win the price for the true race,
And be on the ‘Righteous’ train.
To keep up a good name,
All that you have to do,
Is to be just all of ‘You’
And that brings no shame.
