The Silent Enemy

Some things are more touchy than others to speak about but I think I am ready to talk about it now.  I just hope you are all ready to receive it.

What is that silent enemy?
1) It's one nobody wants you to talk about
2) It's one that you don't want to talk about to anybody.

Why? Because shame is attached to it.
People as good as they may sound to be like to make other feel ashamed of the bad you have done.
If the truth hurts you right now it's because it hits close to home and maybe I will have zero comment because of it.  I am angry in a good way at the world because I want the world to change and no longer make the minority feel ashamed.  Shame is a very negative state of mind.  It disable people of all walk of life.  We can see it happening in the news right now.  It needs to stop.

I am not talking about one issue just now but many.

But yes I am talking about this one issue and that is "Suicide"

Like I say many issues involve putting shame on one group or the other and it never stops.  Yes we talk about these issues, but not about this one...Suicide, it's the silent enemy.

I struggled with suicidal thoughts for years and talked about it to a few trusted ones...but why not more people who could maybe have helped me.  Like a cord of many strands cannot be easily broken.

Where are all these people who claim to love...Where are they?  I fortunately found a few friends who had enough compassion to help me, but where are the real people out there?  Real, meaning Loving.

There are thousands in the world who struggle with suicidal thoughts even sometimes to the point of death and we can only sit back and judge them.  No wonder they lose hope, they are lonely and alone.  They have ended believing in people and are helpless.  They kill themselves and then what happens?
 They become another statistic like this one 800,000 people die of suicide worldwide a year.  That's one person every 40 seconds.  Shouldn't we talk about it now?

I am proof that there can be hope again.  It just take time.

The Power of Fathers

Fathers are valuable beings in children's formation not just the mothers. They set the right values in a home and the standards of moral.  They are much needed. I am glad I had a dad and when I look around I am glad my dad stack around all his life.  So many fathers have left the coop for whatever reason.  I can honestly say that it hurts my heart to see single mothers looking after their children without a father. My dad was dedicated to his family and we always had food on the table. He had to be very busy because of his business in body shop and that I miss, the interaction with him on the emotional level.  I think maybe my children missed that too.  I urge every father to be there for their children, not just physically but emotionally.  It will save them a lot of regrets and sorrow later. Imaginary Imagery

So many times I wonder how what I read in people's faces or even in my own thoughts is actually what really happens. Am I really mad for the right reason or is it all in my imagination. What about you?  Are you really seeing what you are supposed to see or you have to reconsider something? Maybe you missed something in the context of what they were saying.
