Confusion and Perception

We all seems to suffer some kind of confusion at one time or another.  The world that we live in must be somewhat confused in some ways.  Have you noticed a difference in yourself about confusion.  I have in myself.  It increases with stress too.  Is our society stressed out with so much happening, overstressed maybe?
People don't seem to know which way is up anymore.  Going aimlessly in any direction that feels good to their senses.  We must feel good first, don't we?  Reason seems out the door and that's how we make decisions these days.  This become very serious when political leaders make decisions for our countries that way.

That's when perception comes in, especially in relationship.  Let's say that you find yourself tired and cranky.  Wouldn't you think that your perception of what you hear from your partner will change considerably?  I have found that when I am tired and cranky, (sometimes it happens) I better not talk at all and maybe my perception will change after I have rested a while.  Measuring your words sometimes can save you a lot of trouble.

I like photography too.  Sometimes I have to go around my subject to get a different perspective or perception of what I am trying to see.  Different lights and angles can make a big difference in a picture.

Having a second look or third look when you are confused can change the way you perceive something.
This is what is called wisdom, make the right choice of looking again.  After a while you won't become angry so quickly and you won't have to apologize so often because you became angry.  It's a win-win situation.  Then you will have more friends to get along with.

Here is a poem closely related to perception:

It is Always like a Melody

Bernard Demaere

It is early at night,

Drops are falling from the sky.

On the roof, it is God’s melody,

Wouldn’t it drive some of you crazy?

Listen to that refreshing melody,

To a blessing that is heavenly.

It should make you rejoice,

To hear all that noise.

There is a way to look at things,

Whether it’s raindrops falling,

Or simply when it is sunny,

It is always just like a melody!
