Coffee Break

Yesterday, we were talking about the common new Coronavirus and then I felt these poor people hear it from the media all the time.  I felt, though, that when I have a problem in my life as much as I am aware of.  It's better to deal with it first and not to procrastinate about it because somehow the problem becomes overwhelming to me.  Thank God and to my mental illness that's what I have learned.  So in a way, the Coronavirus and my mental illness have helped me.  Listen to this,  I used to get depressed just about my own mental illness and all the medications I am still taking.  Believe me there is nothing wrong with a Christian taking drugs as long as they make him a better person.  I need them, but most of all it's God whom I need.  
Anyway, the title today is "Coffee Break".  Well, what I mean by that is that after every big stress in your life you need a break and then...you have to take it.  Don't procrastinate on that now!
I am just illustrating now what I feel in my daily life something that most of you don't understand.  Stress? What stress?  For me, talking about things like Coronavirus can be stressful...I need a break .  Several years ago, I was diagnosed with Psychotic Depression.  The stigma that goes with it is terrible.  "How can you be a Christian and depressed? I wish I knew the answer to that but honestly depression as no respect of your religion or belief.  I look at my kind of depression as a door, not a barricade as some of you may look at your troubles as barricades.  No, troubles of any kinds are doors.  Look at them that way and you will go further.
In completing this post,  I had like to share a poem with you about coffee.  One of the most popular drink in the world.  I am sorry for all of you tea drinkers I don't have one about tea but just imagine...I really enjoy writing these posts for you and will maybe will have another one ready tomorrow

Of coffee!

Delightful,

Comforting,

Refreshing,

After the night,

It sweeps it away!

Like a bird,

Like a flower,

With fresh dew,

Starting a brand new

Day,

There is nothing

Like a fresh cup

Of coffee,

Ah! That first sip

Of coffee!

The Power of Fathers

Fathers are valuable beings in children's formation not just the mothers. They set the right values in a home and the standards of moral.  They are much needed. I am glad I had a dad and when I look around I am glad my dad stack around all his life.  So many fathers have left the coop for whatever reason.  I can honestly say that it hurts my heart to see single mothers looking after their children without a father. My dad was dedicated to his family and we always had food on the table. He had to be very busy because of his business in body shop and that I miss, the interaction with him on the emotional level.  I think maybe my children missed that too.  I urge every father to be there for their children, not just physically but emotionally.  It will save them a lot of regrets and sorrow later. Imaginary Imagery

So many times I wonder how what I read in people's faces or even in my own thoughts is actually what really happens. Am I really mad for the right reason or is it all in my imagination. What about you?  Are you really seeing what you are supposed to see or you have to reconsider something? Maybe you missed something in the context of what they were saying.
